Hey, just saw this!

The quake was in the north of Chile, and for me to feel it in Santiago would have been like you feeling an earthquake in Bulgaria from the UK Smiley

I'd been meaning to pop in for a while to say Hi and an email today from Our-local reminded me.

Three weeks ago (nearly) I arrived in Kathmandu where I have a job for the next three years, if all goes well. As you'll know Nepal is also prone to earthquakes at times, I've already felt a couple of tremors but nothing serious.

Hope you're all well, but it sure looks quiet around here....

Nice to see you Rachel  wave

Yup, very quiet now, still open more for sentimental reasons than anything as over time people drifted off to new things.

I pop in, most days, just in case. Dunno how I missed this. Sad

I keep wondering where you'll be, next. Japan? Russia? England?!?!?

I was tempted to rejoin OL, now that the witch has gone. Not sure I'd be terribly welcome, though.

Kat! Hope you're well!

I'll be here in Nepal for a while I think.
As for OL, sadly it's not just the witch herself, I think the way it was all handled left a bad taste. But in any case times change and people move on.

Yeah. I know why Ray left and he's asked me to let him know, if I do go back.

I know Babs was uneasy, coz we've kept in touch, a little. I know Brains, Langston and Lyn wouldn't be too happy. They're all a bit weird, though... Wink

We're OK, ta. Got an ill pussy. Don't think she'll be with us, for much longer, sadly. Sad

Jane got her PIP thing. So, financially, we're not as tight as we were.

Pseudo-daughter's getting spliced, apparently. At the Etihad stadium, they believe...

I miss our natters, you know. Along with all the amazing pix. I bet you've got some crackers of Nepal, aincha?

Yes, there were some good people there and it's a shame the way it went. Sorry about the cat, they really do become part of the family.

I don't really have many good photos so far, camera woes. I think the problem has been solved now & I'll try to get some decent ones posted here in the near future.

Yay! I'd love to see some!

She has good days and bad days, like most of us. But, she has heart problems, poor love. We first noticed, when Jane said that she looked pale. Pale? She's a white cat! Looking at her, though, her nose and foot pads where white, too, instead of pink. Rushed her to the vet and we were told that we'd just made it in time. Phew.

She has to take pills, which is fun...She's quite good, now, though. It's like she understands why she has to have them and they go in quite easily, if we get it just right. I wrap them in a piece of ham, which gets them down really well! She loves her food, that one. Smiley

She's the only cat I've known who says "Hello", when you see her, for the first time, when you go into the room she's in. I'm sure she's more human than a lot of people that I know, God love her...
