It seems to be fashionable to donate these days.  Never mind the politics, it's unhealthy for the species for the wealth to graduate to the few.  Unless of cousre past mistakes are heeded

I agree fred, but the fact that she is taking her money and putting it to good use gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling

As for the films, I enjoy them. I wouldn't pay to watch them at the cinema or on DVD though...

She has more than she and her decendants can spend.

And I freely admit to liking the books.  They're on my 'keep list'.  A rare list as it's three shelves three and a half foot long, not even nearly full after 51 years of existance.  If I live long enough methinks I'll enjoy reading them again start to finish when I feel like it.
